Mariah Carey is in Europe, pushing the buzz surrounding her new album that releases next week. Only problem is, she doesn’t appear to know the words yet. Or enough to sing them aloud anyway. TW performances she lip syncs through the entire ordeal. And one performance she doesn’t move around much better than Britney did at her comeback on the VMAs. What is up with Mariah? Has her ego inflated her head? Is she spacing out? Even her poses are ridiculous and staged looking.

Charlton Heston, the actor who played Ben Hur has passed away. Heston was 84 years old. Heston was also known for his role as an active NRA spokesperson. His rep confirms he passed away in his home in Beverly Hills this afternoon.

The super model had another super temper in Britain this week. While trying to board a plane bound for LA, she had a super sized meltdown. And it landed her skinny ass in jail again. Naomi Campbell couldn’t find one of her THREE carryon bags and she pitched a fit. So much so, that police were called and hauled her off the plane, telling her she wasn’t fit to fly. So she does what any adult would do - she SPIT on them. We can see throwing cell phones, but spitting? Come on….
The cops weren’t amused and threww her sorry ass in the slammer. Too bad she was released on bail. However, she has to appear for sentencing and now she is a repeat offender. She might do some serious jail time now!

It must be the season….for wedding bells. Details were leaked today about the upcoming wedding of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. It seems the pair have been planning for months - it wasn’t a lie! The invitations are addressed and set to be mailed next week. Who will leak the actual date first?
There are also supposed to be eight bridesmaids. Will former BFF Paris Hilton be one of them? Only if tiaras are allowed. The most important part, what will baby Harlow wear? The wedding is supposedly going to happen in southern California in the summer. Congratulations!!

The rumors are still swirling that Jay Z and Beyonce are getting married tonight. No confirmation from their reps, but spies have been watching the address that was leaked to be the wedding spot. Parents for both parties have been spotted, wearing various forms of formal dress including white and tuxes. Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland were spotted wearing white gowns and near the Tribeca building where Jay Z lives. It is also reported that the theme is white and the number four. Four because it is 4/4 and both Jay Z and Beyonce have a birthday on the 4. Cool and clever!

Nickelback’s frontman may have a little more time for songwriting in the future. Chad Kroeger, the lead singer, didn’t bother to show up at the court hearing for his DUI bust last year. Did he think he could pull a Paris Hilton and get off? Apparently so. It seemed to have ticked the judge off, since he didn’t care where in the world Kroeger was touring. Kroeger will have to be present for sentencing next month, as the judge decided he was guilty. Oops.

The funnyman had a not so funny moment on Friday. Jerry Seinfeld was out driving his vintage Fiat through the Hamptons when his brakes failed. He tried the emergency brake, but that failed too. Seinfeld tried to slow down but the curving roads had other things in mind. He rolled the car in an intersection, but luckily he was alone and no one was hurt. I guess vintage and more expensive isn’t always a better thing to have.
